Our Story

What We Offer

Chester River Grappling was formed by Dave Packie and Jacob Kirwin in the fall of 2023. What started out as a small group training in a garage, CRGC has evolved into the only grappling/jiu jitsu club in Chestertown, MD. Both Dave and Jacob bring a wealth of combat experience - from wrestling and jiu jitsu, to mixed martial arts. Since CRGC started it has grown into a full club with many of the kids winning state and national titles in wrestling and jiu jitsu.
